ENTERPRISES LINKS
The following links are sites which we find interesting and/or useful.
Rodin; The Gates of Hell: My favorite piece of sculpture. Of course I love anything by Rodin, but I
still remember the very first time I saw The Gates of Hell. One of lifes magnificent
treasures.
Arts & Letters Daily: Don't believe everything you hear on TV...
Economic Policy Institute: Research for broadly shared prosperity.
USGS: Earthquake Hazards site. This is a site I've found to be pretty fun. Take
an East Coast born native and transplant them into California and you get
a person with a healthy interest in things that happen to be "shifty".
The
National Mah Jongg League, Inc.: Yeah,
I know, not a real typical site for someone in their 30's. My grandmother
taught me this game when I was only about 9 years old. Every single time I
get back home for a visit my grandmother and I spend hours (really) playing
this very old game.
The Glass Eye Studio:
My greatest weakness is for glass art, and this is one of the coolest places
I know to satisfy my craving for glass paper weights.
Barnes
and Noble:
My second weakness: books, and this place usually has everything I'm looking
for.
Greenpeace:
I don't think I need say more!
Mountaineering
Clubs of the World: This is a great place to find a local club for
climbing. I got" hooked" on climbing in 1993, but then spent too
many years off the rocks to brave it again. I still own my harness and shoes,
all nicely wrapped up in an airtight box. One can always dream.
The State Russian Museum:
For as long as I can remember, I've been facinated by Russian art and especially
their literature.
American Rottweiler Verein: Dedicated to preserving the total Rottweiler through Schutzhund, ZTP, BBT, Korung & German Styled Shows
ZD Wines: This is in my top five of things I miss about California!
Equine
Lameness: Diagnosing lameness in horses
Farrier
& Hoofcare Resource Center: Wonderful resource to articles,
schools, and much more
